Hi I have an application running on SQL Server 2000.And also another application running on ms access.And they had to use the same datas in some tables.Because of that i linked the access tables to sql server with odbc.There was no problem and it was working very well.But something happened and now application ms access is working on server but when im trying to access from another pc on the network i'm getting the message "general network error",but the other application on sql server still running good.I also tried to install everything again on a different network ,it worked for some hours and again i got the same message..did you try to open the database in access ? sometimes the database gets corrupted. i've had this problem several times. try doing a compact and repair in access. hope this helps !
Anitha|||yes ,access file has no problem because the program is running on the server.But i can't access from another pc
